Classes Cancelled for 2/27/10

Good Morning Everyone-

There is a Level 2 Snow Emergency in Fairfield County this morning, therefore our classes for today are cancelled.

Due to this cancellation, we will be able to extend our make-up testing deadline until Monday, March 1. Anyone that was scheduled to complete a make up testing today can now do so on Monday.

Important Testing Week Announcement!

The persistent winter weather has returned to Pickerington today. As you probably know, we try to close our Academy as little as possible when it comes to the weather. Since we have testing at the end of this week, we have augmented our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy for this week only:
Our Academy will close due to winter weather for the week beginning Monday, February 15, 2010 only if there is a LEVEL 3 Snow Emergency in Fairfield County at 4:00 PM (9:00 AM for Saturday).

As always, our first concern is the safety and well-being of the families that train at our Academy. If you do not feel like the road conditions allow for safe travel to your classes at any point this week, please do not feel obligated to attend even if our Academy is open.

Should there be a Level 3 Snow Emergency on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday (testing days), we will email our contingency plans for testing.

Classes Cancelled for 2/6/10

Good Morning Everyone -

There is a Level 2 Snow Emergency in Fairfield County today. Therefore, our classes for this morning are cancelled.

As of right now, our party at Rule (3), scheduled for tomorrow from 2:00 until 5:00, is still on. We will only cancel this party if Rule (3) decides to close.

If you have not yet purchased wristbands for the party, Mr. and Mrs. Pavlik will be at the Academy from noon until 1:00 PM tomorrow so anyone that planned on purchasing their's today can do so. If you plan on purchasing your wristbands tomorrow at the Academy, please call and leave a voice mail or email.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CLASSES AND EVENTS FOR THIS WEEKEND

Good evening everyone!

We hope everyone is safe and warm this evening! It looks as though the weathermen were right for once and we're getting a significant amount of snow. As of the time of this post (Saturday, February 5 at 11:30 PM), there is currently a Level 2 Snow Emergency in Fairfield County. If this remains the case as of 9:00 AM tomorrow morning, our classes for the day will be cancelled.

Please check online at www.nbc4i.com or call the Fairfield County Sheriff's Department Current Event's Line at 740-681-7229 for the most current information regarding the Snow Emergency level in Fairfield County.

Please note - our party on Sunday at Rule (3) WILL NOT BE CANCELLED unless Rule (3) makes the decision to close for the day. Please keep an eye on this blog, Facebook, and our website at www.pickata.com for updated information.

Also, we realize that some of you may have planned on purchasing your wristbands for this event during tomorrow's classes. If our classes tomorrow are indeed cancelled, Mr. and Mrs. Pavlik will be available at our Academy from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM on Sunday to sell any last minute wristbands. These plans may change, of course, due to changes in the weather.

Rule (3) Party is THIS WEEKEND!

Good afternoon everyone!

Just a quick reminder that our party at Rule (3) in Pickerington is this Sunday, 2/7/10 from 2:00 until 5:00 PM.

Mini Bowling and Wii Lounges will be available from 2:00 until 4:00 and ALL 14 lanes of Bowling will be available for all 3 hours.

A wristband will be required to access these activities. Please purchase your wristbands at the desk at our Academy!
